Private Safari
Day 1. Nairobi
Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi, you will be met and assisted by our representative, who will pick you up at the airport. Transfer to the hotel. If you arrive in the afternoon, you will check in directly at the hotel. If you arrive in the morning, you will have free time to rest for the rest of the day, explore on your own, or join an optional excursion with us. Depending on the arrival times of your various flights, we will offer optional activities such as a visit to the Karen Blixen Museum (Out of Africa), the Giraffe Center, the National Museum, etc. Overnight stay with breakfast at the Argyle Grand Hotel.
Day 2. Lake Naivasha
Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Lake Naivasha, the highest lake in the Rift Valley, located at 1,890 meters. This lake is a combination of volcanic rock and sedimentary deposits. It covers an area of 139 square kilometers. It is home to more than 400 species of birds and has a large population of hippos. This is the area where part of the film “Out of Africa” was filmed. We will arrive mid-morning. In the afternoon, after lunch, we will enjoy a boat safari followed by a walking safari on Crescent Island. This island is located in the center of the lake and is home to countless wild animals. We will continue on foot, taking a walking safari surrounded by all this resident wildlife. We will be able to see all kinds of wild animals—such as giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, gazelles, and more—closer than ever before. Full board at Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge or Naivasha Simba Lodge.
Day 3. Masai Mara National Reserve
After breakfast in Naivasha, we depart for the Masai Mara National Reserve, considered by many to be the world’s finest wildlife reserve. Hundreds of thousands of primarily herbivorous animals, along with a full array of predators and scavengers, roam freely across its rolling hills and vast grasslands, drawn by the magnificent pastures and year-round water sources. Here and in the adjacent Serengeti, of which the Masai Mara is a part, the spectacular annual migration of wildebeests, zebras, gazelles, and other animals takes place. In the afternoon, enjoy a safari until sunset. Meals and lodging at Loyk Luxury Camp, Basecamp Explorer, Mara Maisha Camp, or Mara Zebra Plains.
Day 4. Masai Mara National Reserve
A full day in the Masai Mara dedicated to morning and afternoon game drives with complete flexibility. We’ll visit different areas of the Masai Mara, such as Paradise Plain, Meta Plains, Burrungant Plain, and other safari sites like the Mara River crossing. Our guide will keep a close eye out for vultures circling overhead, as they can signal the presence of predators feeding on recent kills. You will have the option to visit a Masai village. We will see their huts, enjoy their welcome dances, and share experiences with the young warriors, women, and elders regarding livestock and hunting. Meals and accommodation at Loyk Luxury Camp, Basecamp Explorer, Mara Maisha Camp, or Mara Zebra Plains.
Day 5. Masai Mara / Nairobi / Departure
After breakfast, transfer to Nairobi by road. Upon arrival, enjoy lunch at Carnivore Restaurant. At the agreed time, transfer to the airport for your departure flight (departure time to be determined). END OF SERVICES.
