Private Tour
Day 1. Nairobi
Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi (time to be determined), you will be met and assisted by our representative, who will be waiting for you at the arrivals gate holding a sign with your names on it. You will then be transferred to the hotel, where our representative will assist you with check-in. If you arrive in the morning, you can visit the Giraffe Center or enjoy classic attractions such as the Karen Blixen House Museum, the National Museum, etc. If you arrive around lunchtime, after lunch, or in the afternoon, we recommend resting and preparing for your safari the following day. Accommodation at the Crowne Plaza Hotel.
Day 2. Amboseli
After breakfast, we will depart for Amboseli. Lunch at the lodge. In the afternoon, a safari until sunset. Amboseli National Park, situated beneath Africa’s most famous landmark, Mount Kilimanjaro, is a 392-square-kilometer reserve located south of Nairobi. If the sky is clear, during our safaris we’ll be able to see the breathtaking panorama of Africa’s highest mountain, standing at 5,896 meters. The mountain’s waters feed the seasonal swamps that sustain the animals and birds living in the park. Because of its scenic beauty and magical light, this is where photographers wait to capture the classic shot of an elephant or giraffe standing against the backdrop of the snow-capped mountain. Meals and lodging at Kibo Safari Camp.
Day 3. Amboseli
A full day in Amboseli dedicated to morning and afternoon game drives in search of herds of elephants, buffalo, lions, and other wildlife. In the afternoon, you’ll head to the Kilimanjaro viewpoint to take in the breathtaking views. Overnight at Kibo Safari Camp.
Day 4. Lake Naivasha
After breakfast, we head straight to Lake Naivasha. We’ll drive through the Rift Valley and its breathtaking viewpoints, arriving around lunchtime. This lake is a combination of volcanic rock and sedimentary deposits. It covers an area of 189 square kilometers. It is home to more than 400 species of birds and boasts a large population of hippos. Scenes from the movie “Out of Africa” were filmed in this area. Upon arrival, we’ll enjoy the hotel’s magnificent facilities, gardens, pool, and outdoor areas overlooking the lake, teeming with resident wildlife such as giraffes, zebras, and gazelles. A boat safari is included in the afternoon. We’ll be able to see and photograph hippos, fish eagles, and more up close than ever before. After the boat safari, we’ll disembark on Crescent Island for a beautiful walking safari where you’ll see all kinds of herbivores that live there. After the activities, we’ll return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay at Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge or Naivasha Simba Lodge.
Day 5. Masai Mara
After breakfast, we’ll head out to the Masai Mara National Reserve, considered by many to be the world’s best wildlife reserve. Hundreds of thousands of mostly herbivorous animals, along with a wide variety of predators and scavengers, roam freely across its rolling hills and vast grasslands, drawn by the lush pastures and year-round water sources. In the afternoon, we’ll go on a safari until sunset. Meals and lodging at Mara Maisha Camp, Loyk Mara Luxury Camp, or Basecamp Explorer.
Day 6. Masai Mara
A full day in the Masai Mara dedicated to morning and afternoon game drives. We will visit different areas of the Masai Mara, such as Paradise Plain, Meta Plains, and Burrungant. We will visit the Mara River area where the crossings occur, through which herbivores pass during their migration. Our guide will keep a close eye on the vultures circling overhead, as they can signal the presence of predators feeding on recent prey. You may optionally visit a Masai village. We’ll see their huts, enjoy their welcome dances, and share experiences with young warriors, women, and elders regarding livestock and hunting. A picnic lunch is recommended to reach more areas of the savanna (at no additional cost). Accommodation at Mara Maisha Camp, Loyk Mara Luxury Camp, or Basecamp Explorer
Day 7. Masai Mara / Nairobi / Diani Beach. Sands At Chale Island
After breakfast, we’ll depart for Nairobi by road. Upon arrival, we’ll take a direct flight from Wilson Airport at approximately 2:00 p.m. to Diani Beach. Upon arrival at the coast, we’ll transfer to The Sands at Chale Island. Dinner and lodging are included.
