Day 2. Lake Nakuru
After breakfast, we head straight to Lake Nakuru. We’ll arrive in Nakuru in time for lunch and then go on a safari until sunset. We find ourselves in a world-renowned birding paradise where well-known TV networks such as the BBC, CNN, and TVE—to name a few—gather to film the wonderful documentaries we later see on screen. Nakuru is a sanctuary for the white rhinoceros and is home to a wide variety of animals, including lions and leopards, as well as its famous pink flamingos. If the lake level permits, we’ll be able to stroll along the shore and delight our senses with the sounds and colors of the lake and its more than 400 species of birds. Dinner and overnight stay at Lake Nakuru Lodge or Flamingo Hill Tented Camp.
Day 3. Masai Mara
After breakfast, we’ll head to the Masai Mara National Reserve, considered by many to be the best wildlife reserve in the world. Hundreds of thousands of mostly herbivorous animals, along with a wide variety of predators and scavengers, roam freely across its rolling hills and vast grasslands, drawn by the lush pastures and year-round water sources. Afternoon safari. Meals and lodging at Mara Maisha Camp, Loyk Mara Luxury Camp, or Basecamp Explorer.
Day 4. Masai Mara. Bush lunch on the savanna
A full day in the Masai Mara dedicated to morning and afternoon game drives. We’ll visit different areas of the Masai Mara, such as Paradise Plain, Meta Plains, and Burrungant. We’ll explore various sections of the Mara River. Our guide will keep a close watch for vultures soaring overhead, as they can signal the presence of predators feeding on recent prey. We’ll enjoy a special meal on the savanna with camping furniture in a spot that’s both strategically located and charming. Accommodations at Mara Maisha Camp, Loyk Mara Luxury Camp, or Basecamp Explorer.
Day 5. Lake Naivasha
Breakfast and drive to Lake Naivasha. We will arrive before lunch at the highest lake in the Rift Valley, located at 1,890 meters. This lake is a combination of volcanic rock and sedimentary deposits. It covers an area of 139 square kilometers. It is home to a population of over 400 species of birds and boasts a large population of hippos. Part of the film “Out of Africa” was shot in this area. We will enjoy the hotel’s magnificent facilities, gardens, pool, and outdoor areas overlooking the lake, which are teeming with resident wildlife such as giraffes, zebras, and gazelles. In the afternoon, a boat safari is included, where you can see hippos, crocodiles, and all kinds of animals. We will disembark and go on a beautiful safari on Crescent Island, located in the middle of the lake, to get a closer look and photograph all kinds of resident wildlife—such as giraffes, zebras, gazelles, wildebeests, warthogs, and birds—from just a few meters away. After our activities, we will return to our hotel. Meals and accommodation at Naivasha Sopa Lodge or Naivasha Simba Lodge.
Day 6. Amboseli
Breakfast in Naivasha. Travel to Amboseli National Park, located beneath Africa’s most famous landmark, Mount Kilimanjaro. The park covers 392 square kilometers and is situated south of Nairobi. If the sky is clear, we’ll be able to see the magnificent view of Mount Kilimanjaro—Africa’s highest peak at 5,896 meters—during our safaris. The mountain’s waters feed the seasonal swamps that sustain the animals and birds living in the park. Because of its scenic beauty, this is where photographers wait to capture the classic shot of an elephant or giraffe standing against the backdrop of the snow-capped mountain. We’ll arrive at the camp for lunch. In the afternoon, we’ll go on a safari until sunset. Meals and accommodation at Kibo Safari Camp.
Day 7 Amboseli / Namanga / Tarangire
After breakfast, transfer to Nairobi by road, with a game drive en route. Border formalities and vehicle change. Continue to Tarangire. Afternoon game drive in the park with a picnic lunch en route. Overnight at Burungue Tented Camp.
Day 8. Walking Safari – Serengeti National Park
In the morning, we’ll have an early breakfast at the hotel and set out on a drive-in safari from Tarangire toward the Serengeti. Along the way, we’ll cross the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where we’ll go on a guided walking safari accompanied by armed rangers; during the walk, we’ll be able to see animals, birds, and many species of plants. After the activity, we will continue our journey, and once we arrive in the Serengeti, we will soon enter the park, ready to begin our first safari across the endless plains, where we will see many animals such as lions, leopards, elephants, giraffes, buffalo, wildebeest, zebras, antelopes, birds, and much more. The safari will extend until we reach the central area known as Seronera, and as the sun sets, we will be transferred to our tented camp located in the heart of the savanna with views of the entire plain. Full-board accommodation at the Serengeti Ikoma Tented Camp.
Day 9. Serengeti National Park + Night Safari
Today we’ll spend the day exploring the park and discovering all it has to offer, driving along its tracks across the vast plains in search of the Big Five: buffalo, elephants, lions, rhinos, and leopards. We will also visit the numerous hippo pools and the famous Nile crocodiles, such as Retina Hippo Pool, a deep natural pool located approximately 10 km north of Seronera, where the Seronera and Otangi rivers converge to form this pool. Although hippos are common in all the rivers of the region, this deep pool is the best place in the Serengeti to see these enormous and fascinating animals. Picnic lunch inside the park in the heart of the savanna. In the evening, we’ll enjoy a unique experience with a night safari. Full-board accommodation at the Serengeti Ikoma Tented Camp.

Day 10. Ngorongoro Crater – Karatu
Early in the morning, as the first rays of sunlight break, we’ll descend into one of the wonders of the world: the Ngorongoro Crater, where we’ll begin our search for the endangered black rhinoceros, which lives alongside more than 25,000 other mammals. We’ll also go on a safari to the Munge River area, where we’ll have the chance to see lions with darker manes. At midday, we’ll enjoy a picnic lunch inside the Crater in front of a marsh, watching the hippos bathe. After lunch, we’ll continue our safari en route as we leave the Crater and head to our hotel in the town of Karatu, where we’ll rest and spend the night. Accommodation with full board at Farm of Dreams Lodge or Karatu Tented Camp.
Day 11. Karatu/Lago Manyara/Arusha
In the morning, we’ll have breakfast at the lodge and then head to nearby Lake Manyara National Park, where we’ll spend the day searching for the famous tree-climbing lions that live there. In this park, we’ll also see large troops of baboons, elephants, zebras, and many other animals. This park is undoubtedly the place to spot birds such as pelicans and majestic flamingos, who, drawn to the water, display their plumage while fishing, creating a pink optical effect visible from a distance. Picnic lunch in the park. Departure at the agreed time for the bustling town of Arusha. Accommodation at the Kibo Palace.
